Township Clerk - John Lord
I will restore confidence and accountability to the Clerk’s Office by performance of the job I was elected to do and eliminate unwarranted expenses.
John Lord is a DePaul University graduate and has been an active resident of Midlothian and St Christopher parishioner for over 35 years. John’s background and chosen profession is accounting, and has worked in that capacity for over 45 years, retiring as Deputy Executive Director of Chicago Park District Pension Fund.
John has a long and distinguished involvement with his community. Whether he was a coach, President of St. Christopher Athletic Board, or as an active Past President of St. Christopher Holy Name Society, John’s hard work and dedication to these organizations and the community, is a shining example of what community volunteerism is all about. John is now actively involved with the St. Vincent DePaul Society – Food Shelter, where he serves as Vice-President.
John’s vast knowledge of finance and his integrity made him the obvious choice to fill a vacancy and propelled him to serve 10 years as Trustee on the Midlothian Police Pension Fund. John currently serves as Treasurer of Midlothian –Markham Water Commission and Treasurer of Township Officials of Cook County – Trustee Division. John has also served as an IHSA Softball/Baseball/Basketball Official for 30 years.
In Bremen Township, John spent years as a member of the Bremen Youth Committee, and has served 12 years as a Township Trustee. John Lord brings this same commitment and integrity to the Clerk’s Office of Bremen Township.
