Highway Commissioner - John Flaherty
As a builder, I know the importance of providing quality work and staying within a budget. I bring that same commitment, integrity, and work ethic to the Highway Department.
John Flaherty is a lifelong south suburban resident and graduate of Marist High School. John currently resides in Oak Forest with his wife Nancy and their 4 children, Conor, Ronan, Devin, and Tegan. John has been an active member in the community, the St. Damian School and Parish as well as the Fathers Club for Mount Carmel and Mother McAuley High School.
Starting as a Concrete Laborer in 1982, John joined forces with his brothers and brother-in-law in 1994 to form Flaherty Builders Inc., specializing in concrete and residential development. Flaherty Builders Inc. is dedication to detail and a commitment to excellence which have resulted in Flaherty Builders being recognized as one of the most respected home builders in the South Suburbs. In the Building Industry the name Flaherty has meant quality for over 20 years.
As a business man, John knows the importance of doing the job, doing it right and staying within a budget without sacrificing service or quality. As the Bremen Township Highway Commissioner, John will bring that same work ethic, knowledge and experience, and commitment to the Highway Department.
