Congressman Sean Casten
On Saturday, April 22nd, Congressman Sean Casten hosted a town hall meeting at our facility on Oak Park Ave. to introduce himself and the grand opening of his new satellite office on our premises. An overflow crowd of over 100 Bremen Township residents attended in which the Congressman listened to their concerns, answered questions, and addressed issues that impact their neighborhoods.
Nomination applications to Armed Services Academies are now available until November 30th. On August 12th the Congressman sponsored an Armed Services event at our Oak Forest location with every branch of service in attendance for High School students to explore, recruit, and accept applications for nominations. Over 50 students were in attendance for this very informative session. Information for applications and more can be found on the Congressman’s web site at casten.house.gov.
The newly created 6th Congressional District includes a substantial proportion of Bremen Township and we are proud that the Congressman chose to open his office in our neighborhood. Since taking office, Congressman Casten has hosted 440 community events, responded to 176,658 inquiries, and resolved 6,124 constituent cases.
Having a responsive representative so close is certainly an advantage for Bremen Township residents within the 6th District. Another way to keep informed and updated on issues on issues that affect you is to sign up for the Congressman’s newsletter at http://casten.house.gov.
